IMAA Job Development

We are constantly working with area employers and employment service contractors to establish lasting relationships that support job providers and our clients as they become employed.  Through these partnerships, IMAA educates employers about our new-comers and the skills, abilities, and challenges that refugees and immigrants bring to the mainstream workforce. 

By working together with area employers, we:

• Create systems that foster success for businesses and clients by establishing ongoing on-the-job training programs
• Expand our clients’ work experience and knowledge of employment in the USA 
• Assist with the development of the application and interview processes at local companies
• Encourage success for the client who is on the path to self sufficiency
• Obtain accurate and up-to-date job posting information for our employment counselors to share with their clients
• Help to diversify the workforce
